Chris Leader

To call Chris Leader an entrepreneur is an understatement. By the age of 24, Chris was already a successful Realtor® and broker owner. When most folks that age are just getting their first job, Chris was busy turning a previously non-profitable real estate company into the top office in his marketplace. Simultaneously, Chris was a partner in a Mortgage Brokerage and ran it successfully for a number of years.

With this achievement under his belt, Chris took over the management of one of the largest offices in Toronto. His success in that endeavor led him down the path to the realization of his true calling, training. Before the age of 35, Chris turned his successes into a platform for education across the industry and became a top trainer for a major international training company.

Today, Chris is a highly sought-after speaker, trainer and industry consultant. His boundless energy, wit and exemplary business expertise have allowed him to train some of the industry's best professionals.

Chris' dream was to launch his own training company, and so Leader's Edge Training was born. Chris now provides state of the art training for real estate professionals, mortgage professionals and managers all over North America.

Tina Leader
Chief Operating Officer

Tina Leader, Chief Operating Officer, recently joined the Leader's Edge team in 2007. Tina is a professional accountant by trade, and is now working side by side with her husband, Chris, managing all financial and administrative aspects of the company.

At the age of 19, Tina finished college with a Legal Administration Diploma, and began her career in hospital administration. At the age of 30, Tina enrolled in the Certified General Accountants program and finished her final accounting exam in December 2006. Tina is now diligently working towards her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) through Laurentian University.

In February 2007, Tina left her long-term position as Director of Finance at a maximum security psychiatric hospital in order to work with Leader's Edge Training. This has been an exceptional move for her, and she will never look back.

Rod Hackett
Marketing & Sales Coordinator

In his role as Marketing & Sales Coordinator with Leader's Edge Training, Rod coordinates and manages all aspects of past, current and future client relations, including prospecting both individuals and large international organizations.

Rod is no stranger to the real estate industry and has spent years as a successful real estate salesperson with a well known international brand. Rod continues to hold his real estate license and is a proud member in good standing with both RECO and CREA respectively.

Positive, motivated, self-sufficient and always full of energy are the best words to describe Rod. Looking for the solution rather than dwelling on a problem is what makes Rod continue to be a valued member of the Leader's Edge Team. Being a past student of Chris Leader gave Rod a vehicle to a complete life of balance and success. "I made a choice to be successful; Chris taught me how to get there. Now I choose to help give others what was given to me."

Small town values - when Gord Gerrie was growing up in small town Ontario he learned values that would serve the people around him for the rest of his life. His first venture in the real estate business, over 30 years ago started a journey of helping others that continues today. Gord coaches Brokers and Sales Persons and helps his clients to move their businesses to new and greater heights in market differentiation, sales, profitability and business value.

After a successful career selling real estate, Gord opened his first brokerage company with a partner in 1977, where they launched a very successful company and partnership. In the span of only one year, their firm became the number one company in a marketplace of 22 companies and remained in that position until he and his partner sold it.

The success of that business garnered him national recognition and in a very short period of time, Gord entered real estate on a national level. First as a training consultant, and then as a Divisional Vice President, Gord piloted one of the most respected brands in real estate to tremendous growth. With all of that experience he was ready to hit the international stage and moved to various assignments around the continent to assist in the growth of the brand. Gord's business career has also included notable assignments in the mortgage, relocation and marketing industries.
