Some people think that open houses are out of date, but they’re still a relevant way to sell homes and make connections. Unrepresented buyers or those just getting a feel for the market, potential sellers looking to move, and neighbours who haven’t thought of selling yet are all potential deals waiting to happen and speaking with them at an open house gives you the chance to make a strong impression. Open houses also give you the chance to reach out to contacts in your CRM system and your fellow real estate agents. Be sure to make the most of your open houses whenever you have them.
