We’re proud to announce that Bob Burns has joined Leader’s Edge Training’s executive leadership team with a focus on growing the company’s real estate industry presence as a management and agent trainer. He has nearly 20 years of real estate experience as an agent, manager, trainer, and executive.
Bob most recently spent three years as the President of Coldwell Banker Mid-America Group, based in Des Moines, one of the top firms in the United States according to REAL Trends with nearly 2,500 transaction sides in 2018.
“Throughout my career, I have always enjoyed helping agents, managers and company leaders reach their goals, including proper strategizing and implementation,” Bob says. “I have worked closely with the Leader’s Edge team previously and really respect the attention they provide their brokerage and agent clients. Leader’s Edge is the Julliard of our industry with a focus on those who view their career as a business. We provide them with the necessary training so they can go on to do great things and always have their Leader’s Edge education to fall back on and support them.”
Bob started his career as an agent with Coldwell Banker Burnet Realty in Minneapolis. He then trained and coached for Coldwell Banker Burnet, the Kaplan School, and various software companies until accepting a position as Director of Education with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage of Long Island & Queens, N.Y. He was later promoted to Vice President of Sales and Operations.

“Bob has such a unique perspective having served in just about every aspect of the brokerage business,” says Leader’s Edge Training Founder Chris Leader. “He will play a huge role in expanding our presence and how we can best serve real estate professionals, including agents, managers and leadership. Bob shares our belief that the best in our industry treat their real estate career as a true business defined by sales principles and discipline.”
